Tasting Notes

Upon first sip your mouth is immediately filled with the taste of cherries and red berries. From there the wine provides a short to medium finish with the subtle taste of spice lasting on the tongue. Overall the flavor profile is not super complex, but it does provide the fruit forward characteristics you would expect.

Structurally this Pinot Noir is smooth, has a medium body and light tannins. The one drawback is that while there is acidity present, it is a little light and does leave you wishing for more.

Overall Thoughts

Just because a wine is cheap, that does not mean its flavor profile will be as well. And this wine is a perfect example of that. While this is not the best Pinot Noir on the market, it still provides excellent value for the price.

I would recommend this wine to anyone on a budget, looking to make some wine cocktails (such as The Devil's Margarita), or simply looking to quickly grab a bottle while grocery shopping.
